Journal #3

For my topic proposal, I decided to write and research the production side of film. This will cover the preproduction, production, and postproduction. Not only will I look at these different steps, I am going to look at how they differ depending on the film. Feature length, independent, short films, and documentaries are the types of film I will cover. Each style has a different process, cast/crew, scheduling, and the length of each production phase. Covering each of these genres will allow me to not only learn more about film but also more on my major.

Journal #1

So far English 104 seems as if it will be an easy class.  As long as I follow all of the templates given for my papers and the references made in my book, the papers I will have to write will be easy to do.  The syllabus is also an important factor while it has everything I need to know about the class.  It has when each assignment is due well ahead of time, and also keeps me on track with my grades and absences.  In other words, even though it's a five o'clock class, it will be worth going.
